Rainoil Limited is an integrated downstream oil and gas company. A prominent player in the Nigerian industry, the company’s operations span across the downstream value chain i.e. Petroleum Product Storage, Haulage/Distribution and Retail Sales. Our primary products include Petrol (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Logistics Manager
Locations: Delta and Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols within the oil and gas sector.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations, and finance, to optimize supply chain processes and achieve cost savings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable logistics operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance, cost analysis, and project updates to the Head, of Logistics Operation.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- First Degree (First class or Second-Class Upper Division)/HND in Transportation
- 7 years of relevant experience in logistics operations management
- MBA and professional qualifications are an added advantage.
- Ability to effectively manage people (Team of Logistics Specialist) and other resources.
Required Skills:
- Proven knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas business
- Ability to handle supply chain challenges in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles, as well as industry-specific regulations and standards in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
